Rusty Akerman, P.E.

Rusty has served as a design engineer for Poe & Associates for 18 years. He has been involved in many aspects of highway design including: horizontal geometric design, vertical geometric design, stormwater analysis/design and pavement rehabilitation design. While employed with Poe, Rusty has provided design assistance for many projects including several City of Tulsa pavement rehabilitation projects and numerous pavement rehabilitation projects for ODOT and OTA. In addition, he served as Project Coordinator for updating the City of Tulsa’s arterial street pavement management system by supervising teams of summer interns collecting pavement distress data.
