John Bowman, P.E.

John has over 32 years of experience in the management of transportation systems, project development, management and delivery, as well as planning and environmental clearance for projects ranging from small local government efforts to an urban interstate mega project. As Principal-in-Charge of the Oklahoma City office, John's responsibilities include ensuring project teams have the personnel and physical resources necessary to complete successful projects. Prior to joining Poe, John retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, where he had served as Director of Capital Programs after leading the ODOT efforts in realigning I-40 through Oklahoma City. His management expertise and industry knowledge offer tremendous insight and leadership to the Poe team, as well as creates an advantage for the clients he works with on a daily basis.
