The City of Oklahoma City selected Poe & Associates to design the sewer main replacement in Oklahoma City extending from approximately S. Shields Boulevard and S.W. 19th Street to Blackwelder Avenue and S.W. 21st Street. Approximately 2,950 linear feet of 42, 48, and 66-inch relief interceptor sewer is under construction. Also included will be the replacement of an existing siphon on S.W. 21st Street between S. McKinley Avenue and Western Avenue with an aerial crossing over a creek that is flowing within the Douglas Avenue easement. A hydraulic investigation will be made to determine applicable design flood elevations at the aerial crossing location.
