Britton Road Bridge Replacement
Britton Road Bridge Replacement
Oklahoma County, Oklahoma
Oklahoma County selected Poe & Associates to design the replacement of Britton Road over a Tributary to the North Canadian River on the existing alignment, located 1.2 miles east of Choctaw Road, plus approach roadway reconstruction as needed. The existing bridge is a triple 10’x4’x24’ reinforced concrete box. Based on the new hydraulic analysis, the replacement bridge will be a triple 10’x4’x56’ reinforced concrete box. Poe’s services for the project include all field surveys, bridge plans, as well as roadway plans. The typical section of the reconstructed road will be a 32’ clear roadway to match the existing new sections just west of this location along the existing centerline alignment. Poe designed the approach pavement section as well as preparing traffic control plans.
