This is a senior level position with 8 years of experience desired. The position will manage a portfolio of design projects including technical direction and review, budget and invoicing management, and direct client communication.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team to design and create construction drawings and specifications
- Perform various roadway design duties including roadway geometrics, drainage, and construction sequencing
- Coordinate relevant project work with external teaming partners
- Prepare scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Attend client meetings and site visits
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to work in team environment
- Ability to multitask
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma
- 8 years relevant roadway design experience

Poe & Associates is actively seeking multiple CADD Technician/Designers for both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa Offices. This individual should demonstrate competence in production of engineering documents utilizing the MicroStation and/or OpenRoads drafting platform. Applicants with experience with CADD will be considered provided relevant project experience is presented. Candidates involvement could include both structural and roadway aspects of major highway and street projects, along with associated utility and right-of-way components, as well as water and wastewater projects. This individual will work directly with engineers and other technical staff for the design of transportation, water and sewer distribution, water and sewer treatment, and other civil engineering projects.
Qualifications:
- Computer Literacy – technical software, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Verbal/written communication skills
- A candidate that is an established technician with ODOT, OTA, county, municipality, or utility experience is a plus, but not required.

Poe & Associates is actively seeking a CADD Technician/Designer for the Oklahoma City Office. This is an entry to senior-level position with a leading civil engineering firm in Oklahoma. The main focus of this role will be to produce bridge/structure related engineering construction plans utilizing Microstation Connect and OpenBridge Modeler. Candidates with structural or roadway experience are preferred. This Microstation Designer will work directly with engineers and other technical staff for the design of highway bridges, retaining walls, box culverts and other civil engineering projects. Qualifications include computer literacy (technical software, Microsoft Word and Excel), as well as verbal/written communication skills and a readiness to learn. Applicants with experience in CAD will be considered, provided relevant project experience is presented. An established senior-level technician with experience in producing construction plans for ODOT, OTA, county, municipality, or utility experience is a plus, but not required.
